Jamie Super named candidate for Minnesota Teacher of the Year
Congratulations to Jamie Super, Karner Blue Education Center special education teacher, for being named a candidate for Education Minnesota’s 2016 Minnesota Teacher of the Year Award. Super is one of 114 candidates for Minnesota Teacher of the Year, which was announced on February 3.
This year’s program will name the 52nd Minnesota Teacher of the Year, celebrating the tradition of excellence in teaching in Minnesota. Candidates include preschool through grade 12 teachers from public or private schools who hold a Minnesota teaching license and have over three years of teaching experience.
The 2016 Minnesota Teacher of the Year will be announced on May 15. Over the coming weeks, a 25-member panel of community leaders will name a group of semifinalists and finalists.
